You hear about it everywhere these days – becoming economically friendly or “going green” has become a huge trend in industries all over the country. Hotels are seeking their LEED certification by using recycled and earth-friendly product, restaurants are offering all-natural or organic foods from humane and non GMO sources, and even the legal industry is pursuing an update by incorporating reusable sources of energy.

One particular business, an Exeter Law Office in New Hampshire just installed the very first solar array or solar panel in the city's downtown historic district. Attorney Ryan Russman decided that small firms should become a leader in using renewable energy. His actions could spark a new trend for other Exeter, NH office spaces and other small businesses around the country.

NH Attorney Ryan Russman Installs Solar Array

A number of residents have stopped by and asked the NH attorney why he did – and more importantly, what the benefits are. Reporter Jason Claffey of the Exeter Patch found out more. He asked Russman about his electric bill. Russman's response? “I don't have an electric bill anymore.”
For families and offices looking to cut costs, installing a solar array should definitely be an option. Additionally, those who install solar panels are eligible for a potential large amount in tax credits.

Historic Exeter, NH Gets an Uplift

What does a solar array actually do? The company ReVision Energy who installed the solar array for the roof of Russman Law states that their solar panels are “grid-tied photovoltaic arrays.” This means the panel has no wiring or batteries; it actually works in combination with your current electric grid. When your solar panel creates more energy than you need, it passes that extra electricity onto the grid. If the panel doesn't generate enough solar power it begins to take energy from the electric grid.

This method of conserving energy allow the city of Exeter, NH to lower their consumable energy usage, giving that much more back to the community. Russman Law is proud to help the community and tell the world that going green is important to the future health of our society.
