Think you can keep your DUI arrest under wraps? Not in Denton, Texas.

An art student in Denton, TX has started a Twitter account for the Denton Police. The stated aim of the project is to examine how much public information we put online.

Thanks to the wonders of the Internet, all the posts are current mug shots along with offenses, ages and times of arrest. The account currently has 1,761 followers. In case you think that might be invasion of privacy, arrest records are public information, so the account is legal.

Next time you get in a car to drive drunk, think about where your mug shot might end up.
